This guide gathers the road, train and air connections for all seven of our holy towns — from the Varkari capital of Pandharpur to the Narmada island of Omkareshwar and the quiet Washim villages of Girada and Adgaon. How to reach Pandharpur

By road

Pandharpur is approximately 70 km from Solapur and is connected by state and private buses from Pune, Solapur, Mumbai, Kolhapur and many towns across the region. Devotees travelling by private car or pilgrim bus will find safe on-site parking at the Bhakt Niwas, with separate space for buses travelling as Dindi groups.

By train

Pandharpur has its own railway station with connections to Solapur, Miraj and other junctions. Many devotees also alight at Solapur, a major railhead on trunk routes across India, and continue by bus or taxi to Pandharpur.

By air

The nearest airports are at Pune and Kolhapur, with Solapur also served by limited flights. From any of these, onward road travel by taxi or bus brings you to Pandharpur and the Chandrabhaga.

How to reach Omkareshwar

By road

Omkareshwar is about 75–80 km from Indore and roughly 70 km from Khandwa, with regular buses and taxis on both routes. Devotees driving in private vehicles can reach the town comfortably; safe car parking and bus parking for pilgrim groups is available at the Bhakt Niwas on Mamleshwar Road.

By train

The nearest railhead is Omkareshwar Road (Mortakka) station, a short drive from the temple town. Many devotees also alight at Khandwa Junction or Indore, both well served by express trains, and continue by bus or taxi to Omkareshwar.

By air

Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore is the closest airport, with onward road travel of roughly two hours to Omkareshwar. Pre-paid taxis and app cabs make the journey from the airport simple.

How to reach Trimbakeshwar

By road

Trimbakeshwar is about 28–30 km from Nashik, with regular buses, shared jeeps and taxis running between the two towns through the day. Devotees arriving by road from Mumbai, Pune and across Maharashtra will find secure on-site parking at the Bhakt Niwas near Kushavarta Kund.

By train

Nashik Road railway station is the nearest major railhead, well connected to Mumbai, Pune and cities across India. From the station, taxis and buses bring devotees to Trimbakeshwar in about an hour.

By air

The nearest airport is at Nashik, with Mumbai and Pune offering wider connectivity. From the airport, onward road travel by taxi or bus brings you to Trimbakeshwar at the foot of the Brahmagiri hill.

How to reach Alandi

By road

Alandi is about 25 km from Pune, with regular buses, shared vehicles and taxis running between the city and the town through the day. The Bhakt Niwas offers safe on-site parking, with space for Dindi buses travelling together for the Wari.

By train

Pune Junction is the nearest major railhead, well connected to Mumbai and cities across India. From Pune, taxis and buses bring devotees to Alandi in about an hour.

By air

How to reach Girada

By road

Girada is reached through Washim, which is connected by state and private buses to Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Aurangabad and other towns across the Vidarbha region. From Washim, the Girada Bhakt Niwas is a short onward drive, with on-site parking for cars and two-wheelers.

By train

Washim has a railway station with connections within the region, and Akola Junction is a larger nearby railhead well connected to the rest of India. From either station, devotees continue to Girada by road.

By air

The nearest airports are at Nagpur and Aurangabad, both connected to major Indian cities. From there, onward road or rail travel via Washim brings you to the quiet village of Girada.

How to reach Adgaon

By road

Adgaon, like Girada, is reached through Washim, which is linked by state and private buses to Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Aurangabad and other Vidarbha towns. From Washim, the Adgaon Bhakt Niwas is a short onward drive, with ample on-site parking for cars, two-wheelers and pilgrim buses.

By train

Washim railway station serves the immediate region, while Akola Junction is the larger railhead nearby with connections across India. From either station, devotees continue to Post Adgaon by road.

By air

The nearest airports are at Nagpur and Aurangabad. From there, onward road or rail travel via Washim brings you to the tranquil retreat at Adgaon.

How to reach Shegaon

By road

Shegaon, the samadhi kshetra of Shree Gajanan Maharaj, lies in Buldhana district of Vidarbha and is well connected by state and private buses from towns across Maharashtra. Devotees often combine the road journey with darshan halts at Washim, Girada and Adgaon along the wider Vidarbha circuit.

By train

Shegaon has its own railway station on the busy Mumbai–Nagpur rail corridor, and rail is the most popular way for devotees from across India to arrive for darshan of Shree Gajanan Maharaj.

By air

The nearest convenient airports are at Nagpur and Aurangabad, from where devotees continue to Shegaon by train or road. Onward travel is straightforward, with the temple and Anand Sagar complex at the heart of the town.
